I will start this with a little MB fact of the day.

I have not yet learned to become one with nature. Bug cause me to randomly twitch, tromping though strange bushes automatically makes me think I will get the plague and loose a leg, the word leaches makes my skin crawl, and actually literally stepping on a snake during a session will in fact cause me to scream like a 5 year old. Just saying’. Talk about making a first impression while on the job! Darren and Katherine, thanks for hanging in there. While I certainly don’t look good in nature, I think we did an awesome job of making you look good in nature!

With their pups in tow, we rocked out their session. The fact that we did not have the skies open up and pour down on us is amazing in itself. Meeting literally right on the Continental Divide on the side of the road, we completely lucked out and were able to get some really great images of them.

From the moment I met with Katherine I knew it was going to be an awesome fit for us to work together. Beautiful, spunky and awesomely laid back. It was so great to be able to hang with her and Darren, see who they are together and get to know them before their wedding day in August at The Lodge at Sunspot in Winter Park. With a quick shout out to the amazing Ramie Carter of Pick Me! Weddings who connected us! (Bride’s if you have not already connected with Rami, do so. She is amazing, her work is stunning, she has a personality to match and is someone who you definalty want on your dream team of wedding pros!!) 

Darren and Katherine you guys rocked it! From a random canoe to hanging out with me the girly girl. I love everything that you guys are about and I cannot wait to see your wedding and life together unfold. Thank you for trusting me in such an amazing part of your lives. I cannot wait to tell your story through your images!
