Welcome to our world.
Being a work in progress for almost a full year in our home, the Studio Meeting Space is finally fully complete. Between trying to make the vision come to life in a 3-D physical form, (while it certainly had its challenges) I am in love with how it all came together. While we did choose to spend our time putting it together, that was for a few reasons.
First, making stylistic decision with more than one person to please can be well, hard to do. Secondly, we knew we wanted a space that really fit our brand and that we really wanted our clients to feel like they were sitting in a page from our website. By slowly adding layers to the room, it was starting to take form. Thirdly, we also knew we didn’t want to blow our budget by just picking up the first thing we saw that felt like ‘it fit’ our brand. So with slow hunting, a little DIY, and some good old fashioned retail therapy; we lovingly and thoughtfully placed each piece into our room. My friends in internet land, it is possible to create on a budget.
From changing paint colors, crafting the window casings from scratch, to sewing the curtains, painting curtain hardware, thrift store scouring, estate sale stocking, antique store hunting, wallet stolen while purchasing, Christmas list making, and inspiration board creating…
